This enduro tour gives you the opportunity to experience what is commonly known as the hardest race in the Extreme Enduro world
Forest / Mountain loops – These are longer, more classic “hard enduro” style: steep ascents, technical descents, often narrow single-track, sometimes through dense trees, with sections where you’ll need to pick your line carefully.
River/stream bed sections – Some parts will push you through water, wet rocks, minimal traction zones. These are physically demanding and test balance and bike control.
The region is famous for its hearty cuisine — from the iconic Francesinha, a layered sandwich drenched in spicy beer sauce, to slow-cooked Tripas à Moda do Porto, a dish that reflects the city’s seafaring heritage. Freshly grilled Atlantic fish, smoky alheira sausages, and rustic stews are best paired with a glass of local Vinho Verde or a smooth Port wine from the nearby Douro Valley.
Pestana Douro Riverside, member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, is located on the right bank of the Douro River, 10 minutes away from Porto city center. A fascinating setting for your stay!
This tour is the perfect mix between a great city break and the passion for dirt bikes. A unique opportunity to watch one of the best Hard Enduro races on the world with plenty of time left to enjoy what Porto has to offer.
Beyond the trails, Porto offers a vibrant blend of culture, history, and nightlife that makes every enduro trip unforgettable. Riders can wander the cobbled streets of the UNESCO-listed old town, explore the striking architecture of the Dom Luís I Bridge and Livraria Lello, or visit the famous Port wine cellars across the river in Vila Nova de Gaia. As evening falls, the city comes alive with live music, cozy wine bars, and riverside restaurants serving local tapas.
